About
30 years in 30 seconds!
Andy began his professional radio career in 1984 when he joined Radio Trent to host their late-night talk show. Over the next 33 years he presented market-leading mid-morning, drivetime and breakfast shows for Trent FM, Leicester Sound, Ram FM, Capital Radio and Gem 106 (formerly Heart FM) in the East Midlands. He also worked for a time on the Superstation in London, an overnight sustaining service for commercial radio stations across the UK and Europe which included the likes of Jonathan Ross, Ruby Wax and Bob Harris amongst its ranks.
Presenting a regular daily radio show was not only great fun but it also offered Andy the opportunity to get out and host a huge variety of live stage events around the East Midlands and beyond.
With corporate activity and awards shows becoming a popular marketing tool, Andy has since been called upon to host many events during his 33 year career. "Organisers are looking for a reliable, professional presenter who is quick-thinking and able to adapt to changing circumstances during a live show situation - in short, a safe pair of hands....and that's where I come in!"
